On November 15th, 2025, I would have the opprotunity to revisit Six Flags Over Georgia. With this being our second park on our IAAPA 2025 trip, we would stay at the same hotel I stayed at (to the very room!) in April, I got to have a lovely part 2 to visiting Six Flags Over Georgia.
Abi and I woke up at the hotel (which was just across the street) and we walked to the park at 10am, knowing we would be early. Luke and Josh would trail behind, and we all went up to the park to make opening at 11am, and were first in line to enter the park. Our first ride of the day would be Georgia Scorcher, the first of THREE stand up coasters on the trip. Georgia Scorcher would have a lift stop on our first ride. After 3 laps, we went to ride Joker, which would be a new credit for me on this trip. It was a fun kiddy coaster, and while it could use more themeing, it was really fun.
After joker, we went to Monster Mansion, and took a lap on that. After, we went to ride Superman, and with it having no line, we rode it twice. Following, we wne to ride Dare Devil Dive, whihc took a really long time. It would actually be our longest wait at the park. After a quick bite to eat, we went and rode Goliath. Mindbender was next, and it had a redemption arc if you ask me. The wait was a walk on and the layout was really fun. Batman was next and I really enjoyed riding it again. I also really liked how forceful the ride is.
We went to ride Mine Train next, and walked right on. I am not a big fan of the ride, but Abi, Luke, and Josh liked it. Reriding Twisted Cyclone after laping ArieForce One the previous evening felt very lame, but it had a solid layout. Georgia Goldrusher followed, and we got some spin on our two rides on it. I still really like the ride, and it is my second favorite ride at Over Georgia.
After riding all the open coasters, we went for rerides on Goliath, featuring guest star Asher, a RAAM Alumini, and we had a 15 minute wait on one train. Following our reride, Abi and I went for our last ride for the day, on Batman: The Ride. After our last rides, I would purchase a couple goodies, including a Skyline Nanocoaster, and a gift for Taylor. The day was filled with rides, and no major issues.
Six Flags Over Georgia is a charming park. With it being the first season post merger, I expect that in a few years there will be major changes operationally. None of the coasters are "bad", just a few mid-tier rides. The park was also mostly easy to navigate as first time guests, and every coaster except Blue Hawk was open. The fries also had good seasoning. The park could benefit from some freestyles like Cedar Point, or at least refresh stations, I didn't see many stand alone stands.Lots of line jumping, with no easy way to report it that I could tell. Also the food operations could have been slightly faster IMO. Lastly, better mix of Flash Pass to standby, especially at Riddler. Overall we both had a great day. 10 new credits for both of us and we both would consider going again, if we get a good deal on the airfare. I've attached some photos below, so feel free to take a look.
